Nice truck. I am glad it worked out for you on your trade. My dealer wanted to give me $2000 less than KBB trade-in. He doesn't know it yet but I sold it for $4K over his offer and I let it go cheap just to keep them from making a killing on it.
All this after him saying, "wow what a nice truck and such low mileage". I hope he his disappointed when I pick up the new one without a trade.
Really nice truck, I'm sure that I'll see it around the "neighborhood".
South Sho, yo!

Sorry man! I suggest getting the identical trim and color...maybe she won't notice. I had the Bull Bar on for several days before my wife noticed it. I told her we must have gotten a visit from the Bull Bar fairy.

The dealers around here evidently post info and pics of trade-ins on a secret website to gauge interest locally and get some bids. They then use that to determine their pricing strategy. I had one dealer really low ball me, offering $2K below KBB rough trade-in.
I don't feel bad then, because I got in the middle of KBB trade-in Excellent condition for mine. I usually get the high end trade.
The saving grace up here for me is that there is no sales tax - so it was the same as getting the high end back home. (and back home the dealers where in the middle as well).
I basically told him when they were appraising it, that I knew what it was worth and a low ball offer would send me walking without even attempting to negotiate a trade.
Good for you on selling it for $4k more privately.
