Went to the Swap Meet today and saw two of the cleanest Cabs I've seen in a long time. No back corner rust or damage to the doors or lower front corners. $550 with clean doors!
That was a good find. If the cabs are mostly rust free, they aren't likely from Missouri as they salt the roads up there, although the southern part where Springfield is located doesn't get much snow during a normal winter.
I'll be glad when the 2015 swap meet time comes (2 weeks from today) Always lots of goodies there.
Lots of stuff to look at at the Springfield, MO swap meet that's for sure. Takes the better part of a day to make it through everything. Usually several folks with F100 stuff. I think I'm going to be looking for some paint this year.
It requires some leg work, because its not exactly on flat land but I don't mind. Hope I find some things too such as 1966 & earlier F250 "innie" wheels as I just bought a '66 F250 camper special, woo hoo. Needs almost everything non-mechanical but seniority rules as two others were here before it. Good luck and happy hunting !!
It's looking like I might be able to make it there this year. I'm hoping I can head down Saturday and spend the day. It is still two weeks away, so no telling.
Friday night is football in Boonville. I figure I get up very early Saturday and head down and stay in Bolivar at my parents Saturday night and then head back home. Here is hoping it all works out.
If so, hopefully some of us FTE folk and meet up for a little bit.
I'm looking for a bumper...and maybe a few other things. I wrote them down somewhere. I was pondering looking for a flatbed, but I'm thinking I want something a little more narrow than the standard 8' bed.
Joe,
Would you be looking for a Ford script flatbed? There's a guy here that has a 55 that I believe has a tilt flatbed he's been trying to sell for quite a while.

Well, interesting.....another reason to make sure I can get down there.
