New message on MFT
Just got the 12 Explorer back from the steering gear and software recall. Now every time the engine is started a message appears briefly on the MFT screen saying something about services being shut down to conserve battery power. Is this message trying to tell me something about the battery getting weak, an update that got included in the steering reprogramming, or what? The service writer at our local dealership doesn't know anything (about it.) Anyone know what's going on?

Does it function fine otherwise? Sounds like it's a message from when you turn off the engine, and it's there when it starts back up.

It is fine. Just see the message when starting up and when the engine is turned off. In between everything is as it should be.
