1963 F250 craiglist SCORE!

Well here she is my FO FREE craigslist score.

-1963 Ford F250 4x4
-87(?) V8 motor
-4 speed trans

This will serve as my build thread for this truck. Im so stoked to start working on her (need help with a name). She runs and drives pretty well. Always been a california truck so no rust really to speak of, even the metal strips in the bed are still there and not bent or cracked. Still need to do the basic tuneup but I went out for a spin last night and got 4 thumbs up and a "F&^*in BADASS!" hahaha. I basically wanna return it to stock off the floor form, not a restoration, just the way it would have looked in 1963. Ill be putting up some more pictures in the coming days. Thanks

The V8 hood emblem is incorrect for 1963, was only used for 1965/66 V8's.

1961/64 hood emblem features the Gear & Lightning Bolt, this emblem was also used in 1965/66 for I-6's only.

Dang that's a score and a half. Seriously how does anyone just give it away for nothing because of storage fees. Most people that don't know what they are worth atleast know they'd get something from scrapping it. Glad it didn't end up that way. It's to nice to do that with. I had my 64 4x4 before I was 18 and knew what it was worth then. Some people..... Looking forward to more on the project I like how your going back to stock off the line looks wise

Thanks for the emblem education I didn't know that wasn't stock. I like the V8 one though so not sure if I will change it.

Wow! Look forward to seeing this one un-fold. I bought my 64 out of New Mexico, it lived its whole life in CA / CO / NM and its in very respectable shape for its age and mostly original. Good luck and enjoy!

That's awesome. I can't believe you scored that for free.

Looking forward to following along as you work on it.
