Hi everyone.
I'm rebuilding a '76 F150 4x4. When i removed the bed, I found that the previous owner built his own 4" lift. Instead of getting new shocks, he used the standard shocks but built himself 4" blocks that he attached the top of the shock to and then to the frame. I know there is a process where you can find the actual length of shock needed but would there be any adverse affects to just buying shocks for a 4" lift and installing those? this is my first build ever so i don't really have any kind of tribal knowledge.
