Thanks again guys!
I had a long-time Ford friend show me where the front leaf springs and everything needed for conversion just basically "bolt-up" under the 2WD Ex.. I was amazed that all the holes and stuff are mostly there already.
I am leaning toward just getting another vehicle and leaving the dedicated Tow Rig alone at this point. Probably won't be another Ex though. Looking at Expys and possibly even Sequoia's. Thought about the 7 passenger Explorer, but after researching the "sealed transmission" and other crap that Ford did to it, I don't think so.

The conversion is not hard at all. I am not trying to thrash on your decision to go with a different vehicle, but you could spend less then half the money and your Ex could go almost anywhere. Also think about all that money you would save that you could do more upgrades. I'll try to get the link where the guy put the 4WD in his F250.

Thank you for the info if you can find it! I'm just not sure about getting rid of my very expensive, custom drive shaft that I had made. I would have to put the shorter rear shaft in if I did this.... Also scared of cutting a hole in my floor for a shift lever to come up through.... Yep, I'm a baby.
