noticed yesterday that the front drivers side of my truck is sagging-measured and it is about 3/4" lower. I visually inspected and noticed no cracks in leafs and all bushings, while worn, are all intact as well. any ideas on what to check next? I also have a popping sound turning left while the suspension cycles-on the same side...king pins??
Definitely king pins for the noise. Same thing happened to me thought it was springs. Jack up truck, heat with torch while you have someone turn wheel left to right if you cant get grease to go in zerks. Then grease. Worked for me but mine weren't worn just caked with dirt and dried grease. As for lean??? Worn springs?
I'n not exactly sue, but I think I added 2 to the left front spring pack of my f350. Without looking I think I have seven on one side and 9 on the other. Now it sits very level. I save and collect leaf springs for that purpose. I think the ones I added were from the rear of an international 1/2 ton I encountered at a wrecking yard. Someone had taken the axle and the leaf packs were sitting in the dirt. 5 bucks got the pair at the front desk......

thanks in advance fellers
You might want to check your rear springs also. On my '56, I had a similar situation and spent a lot of time on the front suspension looking for the problem. On someone else's suggestion I removed the rear springs and found one to have a different arch than the other. Replaced both MAIN leaves and problem was solved.
These trucks have sometimes (or many times) been overloaded, while the front carries a fairly consistent load.

Reason: add verbage
both sides of kingpins worn out-long story short, its time to go through front end this winter...think that the drivers from leafs are worn/sagging, will figure that out when apart and look into rear springs as well, thank you for the help.
