No, sometimes the Teflon pads in between the springs get worn. Try pressure washing the springs to get the gunk out from in between and then grease with sprayable grease. Mine squeak every now and then but a good cleaning and lube prevents it from reoccuring too often.
Another thing is the bushings. Lube them with sprayable silicone.
