Hello Ranger people, 93 ford ranger 4.0 My buddy replaced his heater core and was lost on which hose goes to what tube , trying to find some pics but with no luck, does the water pump hose go to the furthest tube by the fender? and the hose behind the alt closest to head? Thanks guys for your response. he did say it's reverse when heater is turned on My thinking is he swapped them
The one going to the WP is the return line the one coming off the intake manifold is supply. if it has a control valve then it needs to go on the supply. All I have seen has supply on the one furthest from the fender. Although it really doesn't matter. It just flows coolant through a mini radiator.
