Smile Introduce myself

Hi, I am new to this site and would like to say I own a 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT with a 3 or 4 inch lift, M351, manual in good shape, as well as a 2001 F-350 long bed, crew cab, V10 with a 6 inch lift. I will probably need to ask question on both.
I am thinking of selling my Bronco, but am leering of being ripped off.
What do I need to provide to get some value put on my Bronco?

Thanks, Miss BRT

best would be to look at what your bronco is being sold for on craigslist already. typical range for your year bronco is $500 to $4000 depending on condition and what someone is willing to pay for it.

Unless needed for some particular reason, I would sell the 350 and fix up the Bronco to your satisfaction.

I'm in a similar situation. I own a 78 bronco with a built 400M and also a 2003 F-350 7.3 PSD. my bronco hasn't run in 2 years now. I love the truck but I don't have room at my house to store the bronco so it's at my parents house 3 hours away. I don't wanna sell her but it's coming to the point where it no longer makes sense to keep her if I'm not going to get her running. Add in the fact that the bronco was my first car and it makes it even harder. and selling the powerstroke makes no sense either because I use it to haul horses and cattle as well as towing a trailer on hunting trips all through the fall. But the bronco was purpose built to be my hunting rig. the pros and cons of both sides could keep me rambling for hours.....

That's kind of what we did. Got rid of the 3/4T truck and bought the '96 Bronco. For what I sold the truck and bought the Bronco, i have $8k to play with. Instead of buying a new truck, i can make a new truck for 1/5 of the price and have a cool ride. Now the wife wants to sell her car and steal the Bronco. Guess we'll be a 2 Bronco family.

Hi-
Kemicalburn- finding a descent 78 bronco like mine has been a challenge to compare, still looking. Usually trash in a yard is what I see locally.
Richard1586 - I actually recently bought the 350 because the Bronco cannot safely Stop the horse trailer, pulling is not the main problem just stopping, plus I am upgradeing the size of the horse trailer.
Verminthunter243- Bronco runs fine, needs smog again (CA), but strong. 350 is not my daily, Honda is for gas reasons.
Wolfie1961-350 truck cost 15k, steal of a deal for 13 years old with 70 k miles on it . some old man had it and drove it less than 6k a year.
I have sold some other vehicles in my younger days and was disappointed in finding out they were worth more,(before I had internet) but sometimes quick sales do that. My nephew wanted the Bronco almost did it till I found out he wanted a derby vehicle. NO way!!! Pictures will come.
thanks all

Bronco's are interesting...

Everyone thinks their early bronco - EB, is made of gold. They just aren't IMO. Cool, and capable - sure, but overpriced. The later Bronco's are more reasonable valued, yes 50o to maybe 4,000 for a really nice one.
