Valve Cover Dents

I'd like to dress some minor dings out of some rare valve covers, but since there are baffles, I can't reach all of the danged dings to bump them out from the inside. I was wondering if good old Bondo would adhere and stand up to the heat of the engine? Or is there some other method or product that I should try? Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks, Steve

Since you didn't seem to be getting a response I thought I would take a stab at your problem.

The problem I see with bondo type of fillers is the fact that filler isn't waterproof. My guess would be that they aren't grease-proof either.

There is some filler called Metal-2-Metal by Evercoat. It is the recommended filler for power coating. If I recall correctly, powder coating is heated to 450 degrees during the curing process.

Now about using a stud welder to remove those dings?

Thanks Dennis!
I think I have figured out that no one bothers with fixing sheet metal VC's, just go the the junque yarde and get replacements! Anyway, I will look into the Evercoat filler and see what I can find out. The dings that I am trying to fix are very minor, and don't warrant welding, so was looking for an easy way out.
Thanks, Steve
