Help ficm count down

Truck was driving fine. Got off an exit and it died with a check engine light and battery light. Ficm reads 0 would it just have gave out like that

Is their a fuse or a relay that runs it. If so where is it located I couldn't find anything. And had to leave it to get to work.

I would start with checking the fuses and relays in the engine compartment.

You're welcome. Our Techs often mention to check fuse 22 under the dash also. (F2-22)

Ok so checked all fuses that I originally didn't check. Pulled them out put them back in. Turned the koeo ficm reading 48.5 truck fired right up. Drove it the the firehouse. And volts stayed at 48-49 the entire ride. What would cause a sudden loss of power like that

I'll have to find a picture of where it runs too. I'm still learning. Thanks.

It runs from the the to the connector on the shroud. You may need a little mirror

I would check and load test the batteries and alternator. Also check battery and alternator connections.

Ok so if the 12v supply is there at the ficm and the 48v is droping off odds are a bad dc/dc converter
