I've got a few questions to just lambast y'all with.
1. My Alignment is a bit off, any way to fix that myself, or is that a shop job?
2. I'm having a problem with starting it.
The Battery is good, running in the 13's(Gauge Says Empty), needs a bit off water, which I'm going to put in tonight, the lights work (Another ? there...) but here's what's happening:
I went to the store last night after a few hours of driving, and a few hours of rest, I pull into the church parkinglot down the street from me b/c the lights are not visible when I pull the **** out, all I get is the orange and dash lights, and to see I have to pull the **** all the way out for the brights. So I hop out, look at the lights, hop back in, and the engine dies, but easily starts back up like new. I comtemplated goin back home, but it sounds good and the store isn't far.m So, I'm halfway to the store, and the lights dim a bit, but still very visible, right where it would be without the brights on, and the car starts up again when I leave 7-11, no problems.
I wake up today, go to workouts, summer school, car starts fine all day, never dies, all electric works, but as I'm leaving a friends house at about 6, it won't start, lights, radio, everything but starting. He gives me a 2 minute jump, and I'm fine, roll back to the house, I'ts been here since, and has started the 3-4 times I tried it, and even ran fine for 5 minutes.
So What I'm asking is, was it just the heat and last night was a freak occurence, or is my battery F'ed, or my starter?
On a Side Note, Question #3:
My passenger side window seems to have slipped off the motor, I can still hear it running, but the window won't go up without guidance, and slips an inch or two afterwards.
All help will be much appreciated, even if the news sucks.
OH! Good news, Brakes are bled (PROPERLY!) and seem good, ideas as to where to put the diahrrhea that came out of them>?
THANKS
B
Oh, and it seems, when I shake the truck (Closing the tailgate, slamming a door, actually shaking it...) it starts up.
Could it be loose wiring or somthing?
2) Check the battery terminals (pull them off & clean them) and the ground from the black wire to the block.
3) Replace the drive gear inside the motor. ~$20 from Ford.
By Ground you mean just follow the wire or what?
Is there no other way, I completly trust your idea, but is there no way to set the window back in or somthing?
