anti lock light
Last night at the end of my 180 mile run, i was about 10 mile from destination. i was getting off the highway and on the off ramp , my anti lock light and emer brake light came on. the ebrake was not applied and i even pulled over to check and put it on and released it , and then shut down the truck and restarted it and the lights came right back on. nothing seems to be diff in the operation of the truck, no drag or anything. anyone else ever have this happen

You wont hurt anything or be in increased driving it with the light on. It means the abs computer has detected an electrical problem and has disabled the rwal system so if in a hard stop it is easier to make the rear wheels lock up
you can get codes from the rwal xcomputer. I think you momentarilyground the test terminal under the gkove box and the light flashes codes

The abs light comes on when it detects something wrong in what it controls and monitors, when the brake light comes on from something other then the ebrake, the abs light will come on also as there is something mechanically wrong with the brake system, check your master cylinder and make sure its not low, the other thing is the low vacuum warning switch coming on from lack of vacuum indicating no power assist.
When either of these two warning devices make the ebrake light come on the abs system shuts down to prevent unwanted operation.
