ABS Light and Brake Light
I am the original owner of a 93 econoline 150 with the 4.9L and 218K miles. My problem started about 2 weeks ago. My ABS light and Brake light illuminate and always together. I inspected the brakes, front pads and rotors good, Rear shoes, drums replaced yesterday. The manual says the brake light is caused by the reservoir being low, but the reservoir is properly serviced and the light remains on. The manual doesnt say much about the ABS light.
The brakes work great operationally (I'm not sure about the anti-lock system, I havent had to slam my brakes on).
Any body have time to help a troubled Ford owner.

Also it could be that the ABS sensor in rear end is going bad. THey are wired together so when the brake light comes on the ABS disables itself and then the ABS light will come on. If the ABS system detects a faliure of a component then the ABS light will come on which will also trigger the brake light.
