I have seen a few trucks on here and some in person that have the grill surround the same color as the truck. I think it is an awesome look. Do you get it painted to match? Or do you just swop the whole thing out for one that is the same color as the truck? Thanks

You can order a king ranch surround and it is already primed. Then you just need to get it painted to match. It was about $400 all in for me if I recall.
As long as its a genuine ford part it doesn't really make a difference where you get it. I don't think any other 3rd party vendors are making the grill surrounds.
We just sold our 2010, was really drawn to the KR for that very reason. Getting a '14 Lariat tho with NO chrome package. Looking for options to change that trim to match the Blue Jeans paint.
Our local Line-X did the chrome inserts up nicely for someone.
