The misses and I drove up to Summit Racing for the Monday night cruise in.
She drove one of our 65 Mustangs, I drove the 66 F100.
For giggles I put a For Sale sign in the back window of the F100.
An hour later, Roland became the proud new owner.
Of course I didn't get what I thought I should get, but with a 2 car garage, 2 Harleys, 2 F100s, 2 Mustangs, and a Dodge, it was time to let go.
I dropped her off at Rolands house, he has a bunch, and I mean a bunch of classics. 3 Chrysler 300 letter cars, 75 F150, 58 GMC, 56 Buick, vintage bikes, and who knows what else tucked into his garages.
I miss her already, but the 64 needs some lowering springs to go with her new shoes and I have a pile of cash to spend so Im sure I will quickly get over my grief and move on.

Farewell old friend:
When I saw the post title and read the first and last sentence, thought maybe you got a good deal on the Misses!!!
I can hear the Hall & Oats song playing in the background...
My thoughts exactly.
Its so weird to walk out and not see her in her usual place.
I took the cash and paid it on the misses 2012 Dodge Caliber. That's close to paying it off. Its hard to receive the cash in one hand and pay it out in the other, but I hate owing money on anything.
