Injector Help

Hello all,

I have a 2002 F-350 7.3 4X4. The truck only has 66k miles on it. I use it primarily for towing. It has a BTS trans. Last winter at the advice of my tuner, I put in a set of 175/100 injectors from Performance Injection Systems. I also put in an Garret 38r. The truck has been retuned to hopefully match. It definitely doesn't run like I thought it would. I know that my truck has PMR's. I was told that these upgrades should be safe with my PMR's. The truck definitely smokes a lot more than I had hoped it would. It usually only smokes when I lay on it and it hasn't downshifted. This happens especially when towing and I need a downshift. The injectors were supposed to be 175/80's but PIS did not have 80% nozzles at the time so they sent me 175/100's.

My question is this: Can I through tuning help with the smoke? If I want it to be less or should I find a way to downsize injector? These are technically stage 2's and I had planned to only do stage 1's. I am thinking I should have done 160/30's. I really don't want to try to sell these or pull them out. I am hoping through tuning I can work through it and have the injector just not put out as much. Looking for any help or advise anyone can offer. Thanks so much all. GF
