L8000 charging problem
I cannot get relay to send power to the field side of alternator. I have put new alternator and voltage relay on and still nothing. I am getting 12v to relay but nothing out. Can anyone give me an idea where to start now. Relay only uses three wires.

Replaced alt & relay . & replaced wire from alt to relay ??

A relay normally has a power wire, switched power to activate the relay and a output, it can be self grounded if it has a metal case or need a 4th wire for ground
