truck help please

i bought a 99 f250 super duty with v-10. Ran great then I decided to hose off engine compartment. No pressure washer just running water trying to get all the dirt off now the engine sounds like its missing. Could i have a coil pack that got wet or is something else wrong. Please help 1st ford ever owned. THANKS

my guess is coil pack. if you have a check engine light on get it scanned and see what it says.

THATS WHAT IM THINKING TOO GOING TO PULL A COUPLE AND SEE IF I HAVE MOISTURE IN THEM . NO TROUBLE CODES YET. THANKS

you will find water in each valley around each spark plug.....you need to get an air compressor with a long nozzle and blow the water out.

gone are the days when we can spray engine degunk on the engine and wash it off. too many electronic sensors that go erattic when they get wet. Also, if you exhaust manifold is hot, you could crack it.
