Sound getting softer?

Sound getting softer?
All aspects of my stereo seem the same, bu twhen I listen to the radio it seems to be softer now then it used to be. I use 1 amp for subs and 1 amp for speakers. Have no clue why this is happeneing. Can the radio station change any of there settings on me? And it doesnt matter what area I'm in either. Help!
Also, i have a traditional setup, 2 amps and capacitor mounted to my back seat adn then a 2 sub box holing 10"ers facing the door, any1 have ideas how to reorganize to game more cargo room? right now i have very little b/c it is soo obtrusive, its an 01' sport
