New to forum. My 57 bbw build.

I am new to the forum and thought i should post some pics of my big back window 57 I am building.

The body will be left as found in the field. All new suspension, disc brake front, 2 1/2" drum rear, p/s p/b a/c. The drivetrain is a Mustang HO 302 / 5spd w/ s10 tailhousing. Rear end gears are 3.25

3" dropped axle from nosalgia sid. Reversed the spring eyes, flipped the rear spring hanger and removed some leafs.

Just pulled from the field. Had to mount all 4 wheels and tires to load.

After the acid wash.

Tear down begins.

Frame and pieces ready for paint.

Paint and chassis assembly.

.

Lol. Yeah Dami, that was the first day. Tomorrow should be close. No, that was over a one month period.

I just built a new shop and am organizing it right now so it will be a few weeks before i start on it again.

No Geee. It was sitting on 4 rotted flats. I had to mount my wheels/tires to even move it.

sure like the 57' looks like you're off to a good start, the only problem I see with it, looks like it's setting in front of your shop, not mine, good luck I'll be watching, getting ready to start a 60 of my own
