Hello everyone, I just registered.
My truck is a 1986 F250 6.9l diesel with the old non-wastegated Banks turbo, and I have had the truck since 2010. It is a base model reg cab, automatic, 3.55 gears, and it is pretty much stock besides the turbo.
I currently don't drive the truck much, probably not more than once a week. I got the truck from an older man who had used it to tow a 5th wheel across the country back in the 90's, but as of the mid 2000's didn't get driven much, and thus it only had 64k original miles on it when I got it. As of right now it has 79k and I have no plans of getting rid of it anytime soon. Of course it doesn't have all the modern creature comforts, but it gets the job done and is cheap to maintain.
