Question 3.73 vs 4.10

I am new to this forum and this topic may have been covered before. However, I currently have an '02 F250 V10 CrewCab,SB, Lariat with 3.73 rear end. I am looking to purchase an F350 DRW and have found this choice to be very confusing. Its either a diesel with 4.10 rear end or V10's (very scarce) with a 3.73. I am planning on getting a fifth wheel in the spring plus I tow every weekend throughout the year. The question I have is; Since I use the truck back and forth to work as well as tow, what rear end should I get? Is the 4.10 much different on fuel?

It is the ratio of rotation of driveshaft to rotation of wheel.
3.73 rotations of the driveshaft = 1 rotation of the wheel.

so the higher the number the more tork at the wheel and the lower the number the faster your rear wheel would turn...so for towing you would lean towards the higher numbers right?

You should be ok with 3.73's with that weight.
