Compressing front springs. ARG!!
I am trying to install 4 inch Deavers in my F100. How the heck do install the front springs? I have a spring compressor but don't think it'll squeeze them enough to get them under the axle. I'll admit, I afraid of the compressor blowing up in my face and chipping my molars.
How are you guys doing it?

Loosen the passenger side ! And maybe even loosent the radius arms from their rear brackets.
Those things are t a l l . You're using radius arm drop brackets I hope.
EDIT... Are the radius arms disconnected? Loosely bolt them to the axle and "lever" the springs into position.

Yes I am using drop brackets.. lol Good eye..
I have the front axle completely separated.
Do you think they are squished enough with the drop brackets?

..read my edit above.
The RAs and axle need to be assembled and then the entire assembly swings up to trap the springs into position.
