73-79 floor pan differences

I'm looking to find out the difference between my 69 floor pan and 73+. I found a company that makes bracket specifically for my recaros but only lists 73 up. Replacement floor pans list as being able to weld into both trucks because of their similarities. If it's a matter of trans tunnel height or drilling new holes for the brackets this is no issue. Can anyone give me some insight

Jaa55 Welcome to and the Bumpside Forum.

Floor pans are pretty much same from 65 to 79. In 73 4 in was added to the rear of the pan behind the rear cab mounts. Cut that piece off and it will fit your 69. Some of the 4 spd stick shifts have a different hump cover but the pan itself is the same. No idea of which bracket you might be referring to.

Thank you, great bit of info there. They are wedge brand brackets for the recaros. Also my fuel tank has been relocated to under the bed

Well wedge only makes bench brackets. Can anyone point me in the direction of bucket brackets. I just want a good starting point I can modify as necessary
