Where do we get parts? I contacted Cal-truck for a catalog, but their prices suck. Having restored a mustang, I cant hardly believe how difficult parts are to come by. Fenders for instance for a 1966 F100 - does anyone make them? What about the inner fenders and radiator core support? Mechanical parts are easy, it's the body stuff that is so hard. Let me know if anyone has had any luck with the aftermarket.
Check in the Parts Shop at the upper right of this page. Core supports are the hardest to find for our era trucks. I've seen good ones in wrecking yards here in San Diego but back east they're rare as rocking horse poop.
Having done a Mustang, you're not gonna believe the difference in parts availability for our old trucks. It gets better every year, but it'll never be anything like it is for the Mustangs. (I have an old Mustang too)
Nobody makes steel fenders as of yet, but if you can't find a nice used one, there are fiberglass ones available. (U.S. Bodysource) For the core support you MUST find a good used one or fix what you have if possible. No aftermarket help there yet either. If you need cab mounts, floor panels or cab corners you're in luck. You can get those from several different vendors. Look here first. Put a "wanted" ad in the FTE classifieds too. You'll turn up all kinds of stuff.

Do any of these vendors have websites? Would you be so kind as to list them?
I'm in need of some sheet metal and patch panels for a 61 but I couldn't find much on the net. I'm new to F100's due to my my Bronco/Mustang addiction I've been feeding the last few years.
It's not that parts availability is that bad, it's that Mustang owners are spoiled! Only common muscle cars and British roadsters can you order the entire vehicle by mail. Parts availaility for these trucks is actually quite good, considering the age and somewhat limited appeal.
Fenders aren't that hard to find used, I've seen lots of them at shows.
Core supports are, indeed, the toughest thing to get, and they are too complex for the repro guys to bother making them. I bought one this spring at Carlisle for $300, though I've seen some other vendors trying to get $500 for one (and failing...same part at 3 shows so far, unsold).
