Front Fender Repair Panels?

Hi i have a 94 F150 that i bought a couple years ago and after 18 years of hard Maine winters it is time for some body work and new paint. I have the panels for the typical wheel well and quarter panel rust but on the front fender it is just the lower part of the fender that is rusted the rest of the fender is in great shape.Hate to just junk both fenders and get new ones.Does anyone know any place that sells them lower panels i can have welded in? Thanks for any help!!

Ihave been looking for the same things,
the only thing i can think,is get the whole fender and just cut out the part ,to make your own pannel.
LMC and NPD (nation parts depot) has them for like a $100.00

I don't know why they wouldn't make them it would save a hell of alot of time than replacing the whole fender i did the radiator support in my truck a few months ago and that was hell i dont want to take all that stuff back apart to do the fenders maybe a body shop can custom make them?

No way welding in a patch panel is easier or faster than replacing the whole fender.

... New fender is WAY easier. That and you don't need to add filler.
Or if u want to go that route, junkyard if you can find a pair to butcher up.

TOTALLY agree with Puddy and bashby
It takes about 2 hours to swap a fender, is that too much effort on your part?

If the fender has hole in it REPLACE it. How cheap and lazy are you guys. An aftermarket fender is about $90 and OEM one is about $200 and Used fender is about $50

And if you just did the rad support, work SMARTER not HARDER. What I mean by that is kill 2 birds with one stone. While you had the rad support out, it would of taken another hour(tops) to replace both fenders. They way you work, you might as well do ball joints then a month later pul, it all apart again to do axle u-joint

Only patches I have seen are for the rear bed panels and lower door skins and cab corners.
Botp, LMC, NPD has panels, but none for the fender.
Reason why is at 125 a piece, it's cheaper to just make a replacement fender in the long run.

Also think about it this way. Anywhere you cut, grind, and/or weld is going to be a very good place for rust to start again, a complete panel won't have this disadvantage..

Don't be insulted, the folks here are just trying to keep you from making a BIG mistake on a small panel like a fender, and having to do the job again in a year or so..

X4 or 5 on replacing the front fenders. At the same time you have the fender off, gives you a chance to clean the cowl drain, and do abit of cleaning up! Worth the while for sure!

I don't think that would cause a fender to rot out.

But it is the cause of water leaks in the cab, when the drains clog with 20+ years of crap, leafs and dust gets in there, they clog and drain to slowly, water comes up and enters the cab from behind the dash etc.

Are you fenders rotted like mine were on my '94?

If so, that's just from a lack of mudflaps!
