No. The check engine light is not ON so I would think no codes would be produced. Am I wrong?
Not all codes turn on the CEL and there is also this thing called pending codes. Pending codes are set but require multiple trips for them to be moved to the actual trouble code category and turn on the CEL. If the conditions that set a pending code don't happen on the second trip, then the pending code is cleared and the cycle starts again.
