1988 Tran's troubles
I have a 88 150 two wheel drive, the other day going to work it started to slip in over drive so put it in drive work ok the 5 miles to work. Pulled into the parking lot stop to back the motor died went to start it she acted like the motor would turn over an lock up, I put it in neutral it started right up put it in reverse it killed the motor with a bang. The tran's code says it a T I'm guessing meaning a AOD trans [right?] just want to get the right one when I go yard hunting. John DOES A T CODE MEAN AOD TRANS??????
