Spindle bearing question
Hi guys, quick question. I'm in the process of redoing the bearings in the front of my 93 f150, dana 44 ifs. I've got a kit for the spindle bearing, but I'm confused. There's a seal that goes on the face of the bearing; in the kit it's a rubber v ring. On the spindle I just pulled off it a rubber v ring but it looks like there's a metal seal as well that's part of it. Before I pull the old bearing out and ruin it, am I missing something in my kit?
Sorry if this is not clear, I've been going all day on this (just finished the ball joints and u joints) and I've go to get it all back together before the morning. Thanks for any advise.
