clutch linkage

i have a 69 with a 4 spd manual the clutch linkage works but it is getting wore out. is it easy to swap over to a hydrolic clutch or just go auto. the engine is out of a 91 so what would fit behind it. the only money i've put into nit so far is a new pilot bearing and a few u joints,the truck was free just had to tow it about 100 miles or so.it needs a little body work, no dents just rust i am learning body work as i go. the p.o. had rebuilt the diff and put a new windsheild in it then left it in the field for about five or ten years. i got it running fixed the wiring problems(brake lights stayed on all the time). new used headlight switch fixed it everything else works now except the alternator and lower radiator hose (probably wrong radiator) and it runs hot. rad again. any help would be nice. if i dont get it fixed soon i will sell it. it would be a good wood hauler (flat bed with racks). thanks
