Make sure the seatbelt configuration is the same. If the retractor is on the floor on the 2000 it is not as simple if the 2005 has integrated belts. The retractor on the floor is tied into the SRS airbag system. I believe the floor pan and seat brackets are different between the crewcab and the supercab. The backseat is totally different.
The easiest thing and right way to do it would be find a crew cab interior to replace yours it's not like they are hard to find. Way more crew cabs out there than anything else. What are you trying to do just replace the seats or the whole interior?
A "friend" is parting out a 2005 ext. cab and I could do some work for him in return for the interior without coming out of pocket with cash that.s why I was hoping it would work. Also I do construction work and my boss has a 05 crew cab and his backseat folds up leaving a metal tray to put tools on then when you want you can just flip it down and have your backseat back which when up protects the seat.I thank you all and if anybody needs parts they're for sale including a long bed "blue" in great shape. Thanks again!
