Ordered a Redhead steering box - anything else I should replace while I'm there?

Obligatory: '92 F-250 with the TTB / leaf springs up front, stock 235/85/16 pizza cutters, no lift kit, bone stock.
So, as the title says, is there anything else I should check or replace while I'm there? My tie rods and balljoints look to be good, my power steering pump is both quiet and leak-free (almost unheard of for a Ford), and I have no idea how to check the pitman arm (is that even a wear item in a stock truck?). There is a fair bit of clunking when turning the steering wheel, we've never been able to figure it out, but I'm hoping that's just the old gearbox, it's coming from right around that area.
Also, steering stabilizer - yay or nay for a bone stock highway truck? On the road trip, I'd be on bumpy, pothole filled roads and my truck would want to go everywhere except straight every time it hit a rough part. Would a stabilizer help with that, or should the new gearbox clear that right up?
