Synchro trans in an F-4?

Synchro trans in an F-4?
I went to look at a 51-52 F-4 the other day. Looks to have a T98 trans. I thought those were only in the bigger trucks? Appears to be original....

Thanks Ross. The truck must be a '52 then.....the hood and data plate were missing, so I was unsure of the exact year.

Sorry, it actually shows as available on the same models all the way back to '48.

It was an option for F-4,5,6 with V8 and standard in the F6 with the 254-6. This is according to the '52 salesman's manual.

To find out if it's a 52, look where the inner fenders mount. If they mount to the cab, it's a 52. It's a 51 if they mount to the frame.
