Brake Drum Question

Hey guys,

So my brake pedal goes all the way to the floor...

I tried bleeding the system, and bled all the wheels including the RABS nipple..
Pedal got good, then very bad...and stayed bad..

So I pulled off the driver rear drum and noticed that my shoe closest to the rear of the truck doesnt move at all when the brakes are applied.

Could my wheel cylinder be busted and letting air in the system, anyone have similar issues? the pads and drum look good...Thanks

I did my shoes last week, they aren't fun. With a wheel cylinder, both pistons move outwards equally when pressing the brake pedal. If only one side works, then chances are a seal blew out on the one side, and needs a new wheel cylinder. They are about $10 a piece, I'd replace both of them. Take pics of your brake spring setup before removing for easy install

It sure can. Since I've replaced my wheel cylinder and then re-adjusted the self-adjusters to the correct position, I have a nice firm brake pedal again, and was able to bleed all the air out that was getting sucked back in.
