Load test each battery and check the alternator would be my first things to check.

When it dies does the glow plug light cycle? This would indicate a vref short or an intermittent open circuit supplying the pcm.

Sent from my leash using IB AutoGroup

I would check the three connectors to the ficm. Make sure they are fully seated.

The p0603 is probably due to unhooking batteries
The u 03 one is a ficm code--check connections and check for bent pins maybe? May need it reflashed?

Using IB AutoGroup

p0603=pcm fault, Faulty connection or fuse block
p1000=OBD ready test probably both battery disconnected it should be up now.
u0105=lost communication to ficm, Connections to ficm from PCM or pin's
u0306=software incompatibility with ficm communication error, where did you get the ficm ? may need to get a hold of Ed down at ficm repair .com

FWIW when I first got my 04 and it threw the U0306 code repeatedly I took it to the Ford garage and had them re flash everything to stock. Once I spent the $50 to get it flashed (which came with a wash and vacuum) I haven't had that code come up again.

That's a good point the code book does say re flash and he has a aftermarket FICM that's not programed most likely , hell washed and Vacuumed I may have to take my Truck at least once a month for Flashin

Took it to a shop? The FICM can be a bugger at times, make sure you hear the Click and did not break any tabs when removed.

Double check that when you put the fuses in the fuse box, the blades of the fuse go INTO the slots in the connector in the box. You can slide them in BESIDE the slots and it will make intermittent connection. Check fuses for IDM (FICM) and PCM specifically.

Did you check the front engine cover ( where the LPOP resides ) for damage/ scoring?
