lift kit problems

i just isntalled a rough country six inch lift on my 93 f150 2wd. Went pretty well except now my linkage is hitting my sway bar links in front of the front tires. it almost looks like the pitman arm sent to me is not long enough and is creating different angles. this happens even if my sway bar is not connected to the links. Is there nehting else i can adjust?

Got a picture? By linkage you mean steering linkage? Did you put the sway bar drop links on it? You need those with a 6" lift.

yes i mean the steering linkage i got the drop brackets which do line up the sway bar with the little brackets by the tires but even with the sway bar not in place, the steering linkage still hits the little brackets by the tires i was lookin at a 94 bronco and there is a ton of space between the steering linkage and the brackets i know they r different vehicles and mine is only 2wd but i assume i should have plenty of space too im gonna bring it to a shop this afternoon and c wut they tell me

Are you able to give us pictures? I think the problem here is we need a little more data to be able to diagnose the situation.

Are the rims on your truck factory? almost sounds like it could be a wheel backspacing problem. Not sure, but 4x4s could have a different offset than 2wds causing the rim and tire to be too close to the linkage at full turn
