Newby needs emission help

Recently bought 88 F250 3/4 ton 7.5 (460) and it's missing the cat. Where is the best place to get one and can anyone tell me how to hook up the air lines that come from the air pump? As in which port does each one go to on the cat? Or does anyone know where I could to get a schematic of the emissions for this model? Thanks in advance. Oh and by the way it has original 86000 and absolutely no rust!

Any parts store will have a universal cat that will fit with muffler clamps. Just clamp it in place. They may also have the factory fit unit, you will have to check and see. Just get online at Autozone or someplace like that, plug your truck in, and see what they have.

Here's a little bit of info on the air pump system. | Repair Guides | Emission Controls | Managed Thermactor Air (mta) System | AutoZone.com
