TPS sensor stall

Im thinking my Throttle position sensor is bad, my ol girl needs gas pedal to start and to remain idling. Once it warms up it will hold idle but very low RPM. the engine rpm does not float up and down, just wants to die. this happened out of the blue one day. Is there any way to clean the sensor or maybe adjust it, or easy to replace?

Sounds more like IAC isn't working correctly. Try pulling codes, perhaps running the Key On, Engine Running (KOER) test. If you can't, the remove the IAC valve and clean it gently inside with a cotton swab with either Electronic Parts cleaner or Brake cleaner. Try not to get any solvent in the solenoid part of the IAC valve as it can ruin it.

It is highly recommended to run the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) tests and Continuous Memory (CM) display first. Fix any issues there then run the KOER tests.
