OK here is a stumper for you guys, is it possible to get 300 horse out of a 4.0 v6 ranger engine? using whatever means necessary, well no nitrous. how 'bout it? is it possible?
thanks,
Joe
Anything is possible if you have enough cash and the means to fabricate your own parts. The next question is would you want to drive a Ranger w/ 300hp. If so i got a penny says you spend more time in the garage them on the highway.
Vortech makes a supercharger kit for you that might help you realize your ambition. Nitrous is easier and cheaper as long as you use the available safety measures and some common sense. Once you hit 300hp you will then have to figure out how to make that power translate into foward momentum as opposed to tire smoke.
