Pushrod cover gasket replacement
Do I have to take the distributor off to change the pushrod cover gasket? Any way of doing it without removing the distributor? Any tips/tricks or warnings I should know about the removal process? 1991 Ford F150 v6 4.9 4x4

the 4.9 is a straight 6 not a v-6. you should be able to squeek the cover by the distributor, with the cap removed. its not a big deal to pull the distributor if you have to just mark it right and keep the engine at TDC.
