under the dash noise
some kind of crackling noise under the dash, pulled the fuse cover everything looked and smelled normal , I was thinking speedo but it still made the noise in a complete stop . this only lasted for about 2 miles a few days ago and haven't surfaced since. anybody experienced this?
. I got to thinking if the Noise was in the Engine bay , but it sure sounded like it was above my knees

Been thinking about it but just can't come up with anything unless I heard it myself. Thinking maybe something got stuck in the cowl and wind was blowing it like a leaf or maple seed" helicopter". I don't know. Thinking out loud i guess.

Thanks for the Input Guys, this sound was like arcing , kinda high pitch sound , but no smell of burnt wires, then I thought engine bay arc that would explain no smell but to hear it so clearly under the dash , Don't know . the sound haven't came back and all dash function is good. truck is running the best as ever. Crap I hope I didn't Jinks this
