bumping sound
When I am idling around the parking lot I hear a bumping sound that repeats every minute or so. I suspect it is the ac compressor and wonder if that is normal. Do not hear once under way.

You typically cannot hear the A/C compressor from inside the truck, there is too much soundproofing (unless perhaps the base trim) and too much engine noise. What you are more likely hearing would be the motorized damper and blend doors in the HVAC ducts. Once a minute is probably normal, they are known to fail and make a constant sound every second or so.
