Talking I am New to Ford Truck Enthusiasts, but not new to Ford

As I read through many new and older members posting about their truck experiences it also brought back so many memories of my experiences. My first was 49 F100 from the service department of the local Telephone Company in 1963. Nobody showed me how to synchronize the clutch verses the shifting so the transmission soon had to be replaced. From there it was a downward spiral. I got my first tree removal job before I was 16 and it was cheaper to buy another truck then to fix what I had so traded for a 55 F100 (still have it) and a 57 F100. Get mad if you wish but my landlord sold me a good running 1/2 ton GMC for $35 in 1966, which serviced me quite well, but it was the only GM product I ever owned or drove. However my current status of a 55 F100, 2000 Ranger, 72 Stroppe Bronco, 84 F250, 2003 F250, and C600 makes me Ford man, what do you think? Have I gone too far? This is certainly a better experience than my cable television. Thanks Ted

Well seeing how my dream truck is a 55 F100 I say youre already set, That's just my opinion. Do you still have the 57? You should set up albums for your vehicles. Sharing is caring...

No Jordan the 57 F1 is long gone. I thought it was especially snappy with the 300 I6 well at least at the time. I am thinking that having my 55 F1 is doing OK. I have thought about getting some albums together. Right now pretty much all my attention is going towards what I call an impossible build. I am taking quite a few pictures of this which is also new to me. I think it will be interesting to some others as well. Storage is starting to become an issue am in the process of getting rid of everything but the Fords.
