What is unsafe about it ? This is for the street not off road...
I think blocks are illegal up front in some states and that is pretty much what those are. They make a pivot point between the axle and the spring and eliminate the secure connection at the spring/axle. Nice truck though.

My opinion is the short blocks will increase the front spring stresses, especially with the increased height. I wouldn't be as concerned if it was only 1 block but I'd still be concerned. If it were mine I'd add more leafs to help distribute the stresses.

Time and usage will tell all.
Sorry that's just totally wrong. Somebody else in here said something about the height of the truck affecting the spring stress but the truth is; the truck doesn't know how high it is................it has no brain.
As I said....it's my opinion. All of the factory springs go through durability. Any time you change leaf spacers or add leafs etc, you change the spring stresses and their distribution. The question really is how much is changed? Most of these vehicles may not get used to the extreme and may never see any issue, but it's not for me.

Please tell me where I'm wrong.
The spacer/block added height but the mount where it sits is still the same. May you are referring to the added twisting when you stop due to the added leverage which is one reason why I prefer shackles.
