Picked this up this afternoon from a field on the island. I was moving a tractor for a friend and I just hate coming home with an empty trailer. I had 4 16" wheels with tires that hold air, so I put them on before I rolled it off. No Idea what I'll do with this POS.
Put on your cabinet maker hat and turn it into a Huckster and use it to peddle BBQ from your smoker or maybe a little hooch from that still you may or may not have.
I've had this idea/dream for a while of building a 4WD T-bucket. Basically a t-bucket with a moderately extended but standard 4-link front end with a solid front axle and spindle mounted fenders. Done right I think it would be a blast.
Basically the ******* offspring of if a flat fender Jeep(CJ2A/3A) and a Model T got it on.
Be pretty cool to almost literally do that, find some old jeep that still had the flat head in it and a disintegrated body, park the two side by side and merge. That sucker you got there might be a little too far gone for that though. Do it up all rustic like some clever farmer put it together in the late 40s.
Funny, but I ws thinking one of the two body rotted landcruiser wagons I have. I did have a rusty cj2a until I blew the flathead in it 4 wheeling on the lower 40 with some buddys. Crazy thing is now the cj is in Kent, probably at your next door neighbor's house. I sold it to a tractor collector friend there. These all look like great ideas. I'll follow up with progress reports, but first I should finish the 3 trucks currently in progress.......
