I have had a few Superduty trucks experience the "Dreaded Drip" syndrome over the years. And here it is again for the second time on my 2013.
Made a drive up to Elkhart, IN from Dallas and just got back, well yesterday the wife said that her feet and purse were getting wet from water dripping from up under the dash behind the glove box. It is clean, clear, cold water which tells me it must be from a clogged water tube from the A/C. Guess it is back to the dealer again.
Guess in the overall scope of things this is a minor issue, except to the wives cold wet feet and purse. Which does kind of make if a much larger issue now.
I've never experienced this in a Superduty, but I once had a Toyota pickup that was fond of growing some sort of algae in the drain tube. I tried blowing it out with an air gun several times only to have it plug up again within a week. I finally blew a good shot of bleach up the tube and that seemed to kill it off.
That could well be the issue. Wonder if I can use Clorox bleach or if there is a Ford Motorcraft label bleach at the dealer? I would hate to void my warranty using aftermarket bleach....LOL!!! Yes, I jest of course.

Let me know when you swing by your dealership, jonrjen. What's the truck's current mileage?
Crystal,
I turned over 15,000 plus on this trip. She (the truck) is right at a year old, and has been a pure pleasure to own. No complaints from me at all.
I'll most likely take it in early next week to have it looked at. I have a pretty good relationship with my local dealer and have been dealing with them for decades now, even though a change in owners.
The dealership has a good qualified service dept. And the GSM is Great, Fantastic, Well Mannered, Customer Focused, Good Hearted Gentleman of sound Character. It is very apparent that his Mother raised him right.
I appreciate your offer of assistance and may take you up on it if needed. However for my Son's sake lets hope it's not.....LOL!!!

I was only teasing about the Ford Motorcraft private label bleach.
