hey all, i see from all the treads that fords new 6.0 has a few bugs in it. i just wanted to pass along something i saw on the web site ,, www.blueovalnews.com it has a posting in there that shows that fords had a problem with the injectors causing it to basically destroy the engine, and news reads that they won't issue a recall for this problem... not sure if anyone has saw this but if you have then just disreguard this as you are up to date for the engine. the treads reads :::: EARLY 2003 POWERSTROKE 6.0 ENGINES ARE TICKING TOMB BOMBS .. so you can find it pretty easy. ya'll take it easy. C.J. ........
The reason they haven't issued a recall is two fold. 1) they don't believe that every injector is destined to failure and 2) they haven't determined if the C95 injectors have completely solved the problem yet (I don't know if they will issue a recall even if that determination is made). It wouldn't be prudent to recall 75,000 trucks to replace all 8 injectors in each truck with an unproven replacement injector.
