wheel/rim clearance thoughts?
I have a 1988 f150 4x4 with after market suspension. I want to put 33x12.50 on it . where I think im gonna have an issue is I want to put 18x12 black pro comp steelies with them.. will the bigger, wider rims create any extra wear on the barings or axles? or anywhere else?

Yes, you can expect U-joints, shocks, suspension bushings and wheel bearings to have a shorter life. You don't need or really want a 12" wide wheel with those tires either as that would expose the wheel lip to damage offroad, and that size tire works best(best bead seat and tread wear) on a 10" rim anyway. And to minimize rubbing on the front suspension components at full steering lock the wheels should have no more than 3.75-4" backspacing.
